At Legacies, we bring both scholarly rigor and refined narrative sensibility to every project. We uncover and interpret generations of history with accuracy and care, transforming archival records into meaningful, lasting legacies. Our services range from detailed genealogical research and elegantly written legacy biographies to complex kinship reports for probate, quiet title actions, and other legal proceedings. Each project is conducted with an elevated level of attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism that our clients have come to expect and rely upon.
Cyndi, founder and principal genealogist of Legacies, brings more than two decades of research experience and a distinguished record of advanced genealogical training. Her formal education includes the Boston University Genealogical Research Practicum and the peer-reviewed ProGen Study Program, an intensive 18-month cooperative genealogical research program. She has completed specialized coursework and practicums through the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG) and other national institutes, and she continues to engage in high-level professional development to remain at the forefront of the field.
Cyndi’s work reflects a deep respect for the historical record, a nuanced understanding of kinship and inheritance, and a storyteller’s sense of narrative structure. Her investigations are thorough, her documentation is impeccable, and her conclusions are sound.
Whether you seek a meticulously documented family tree, a deeply personal tribute in the form of a custom obituary, an heirloom-quality book that brings your ancestors to life, or court-ready reports for heirship or kinship determinations, Legacies offers a refined and comprehensive approach to genealogical research.
Our work is custom-tailored, with every client receiving the full measure of our expertise, care, and attention. We understand the gravity of the work we do—not only as a matter of record, but as a matter of remembrance. We invite you to experience genealogy at its finest: rooted in scholarship, elevated by narrative, and delivered with distinction.
